Women’s History Month celebrated

Body Women’s History Month — a celebration to recognize women’s contributions to society — started out as only a day in 1909, according to nationalgeographic. com. The day turned into a week in 1980 and into a month in 1987.

D.C. trip set for eighth-graders

Body The trip to Washington, D.C. for eighth-grade students has been set for May 22-26, and Richmond Middle School students are welcome to participate in the group trip with their parents’ permission and support.

Body Western Governors University (WGU) Missouri today announced the return of its “Fund My Classroom” initiative, issuing a call for K-12 teachers across the state to nominate their proposed classroom projects for the opportunity to receive full or partial funding.

RHS students present comedic play

Body The Richmond High School theater department is presenting its version of the play “12 Incompetent Jurors,” based on the Emmy Award-Winning television movie “12 Angry Men” by Reginald Rose and adapted for the stage by Ian McWethy. The play will be presented at 7 p.m.
