Man rearrested, sodomy

A failure to abide warrant was issued and served for a man facing two felony charges after a mistake was made regarding his bond. Former Richmond resident Juan-David Gutierrez, 31, is charged with first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy and second- degree sodomy.

JUAN-DAVID GUTIERREZ was met by Ray County deputies as he walked into the courthouse. He was arrested upon arrival due to a warrant issued after he was released from jail on the wrong bond amount. MIRANDA JAMISON | Staff

Summer Bash is big smash

A robust crowd showed up in support of Summer Bash, hosted by Friends of Richmond Future Farmers of America (FORFFA). The bash was held recently in the Richmond High School parking lot, where over 30 vendors, four food trucks and children’s play area, offering plenty for area residents to enjoy.
