Commissioners approve new courthouse clocks

Ray County Commissioners approved the purchase of four clocks for the courthouse during a recent meeting. The commissioners were notified during a June meeting that all four courthouse clocks were broken and needed to be removed.

Ray County Sheriff’s Department arrests from June 30, 2024 to July 3, 2024. Sunday, June 30 At 1:16 a.m., Andrea Kay Griffith-Brower, 42, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., was arrested for contempt of court.

Red Cross announces blood shortage

Amidst scorching heat and the exodus of people for their last summer trips, the American Red Cross is confronting a dire shortage of blood. Since the beginning of July, the Red Cross has faced a significant drop of over 25% in the national blood supply.
