NO. 1 Karoline Dooley continues to lead Richmond in varsity girls golf. Dooley was the Spartans’ top finisher in Richmond’s triangular with Warrensburg and Oak Grove Tuesday at Shirkey Golf Course. The first-year high schooler finished the nine-hole round with a 54 to help the Spartans shoot a combined 232 and finish second. Warrensburg finished first, led by Reece Nimmo, who shot a 40. Led by Alison McCormick, who shot a 50, Oak Grove shot a 236. Center and Harrisonville also participated Tuesday, but didn’t have complete teams. Dooley’s performance followed an eighth-place finish Monday in a tournament hosted by Odessa, also at Shirkey. Her 106 for the 18-hole round put her two strokes behind the seventh-place finisher, Holly McNamara of St. Michael the Archangel; and four strokes ahead of the ninth-place finisher, McCormick of Oak Grove.
