To commemorate Senior Night, Bozarth was honored with flowers and other gifts before the Spartans’ Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC)-East Division varsity girls tennis dual with Knob Noster at Maurice Roberts Park (see also page 6).

Bozarth and her teammates had two more duals set for this week – Holden Wednesday at Maurice Roberts Park and Lexington Thursday on the road.

SENIOR NIGHT, PART II

Bozarth wasn’t the only senior student athlete Richmond honored Tuesday.

Softballer Maya Griffin was honored between the Spartans’ varsity and junior varsity (JV) games with Knob Noster at Southview Park.

“Maya has been great!” Richmond varsity softball coach Baylyn Jennings stated Sept. 19 via email. “She has really grown this year, and we are super-happy to have her on the field and with our program.”

Richmond won its varsity meeting with Knob Noster 16-0 in three innings. The JV Spartans won 8-3.
