Coach Kirk Thacker’s plans for starting Orrick’s final week of varsity 8-man football team camp Monday got changed. Normally, Thacker and his Bearcats hold camp sessions outside. The rainstorm that passed through Ray County Monday changed that. After focusing on installing a new defense during last week’s team camp, Thacker had planned to stay the course this week. Orrick’s performance at a July 21 multiteam scrimmage camp at Tarkio, hosted by East Atchison, changed that.
