Richmond is one game away from playing in the Show-Me Showdown in boys basketball. 

With Tuesday night's 63-47 win over visiting Pembroke Hill in sectionals, the Spartans advanced to play The Barstow School in the Class 4 state quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Avila University in Kansas City. The winner will advance to play in the semifinals and the championship game or third-place game next weekend at JQH Arena in Springfield.
