RICHMOND – A strategic adjustment is one reason why Richmond senior Hannah Norris has one more high school girls golf tournament to play. Norris will play in the Class 1 state tournament Oct. 19-20 on the Posse course at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex at Smithville Lake. She qualified by tying Salisbury’s Sydney Stundebeck for sixth place Monday at the Class 1 District 3 Tournament at Shirkey Golf Course. The top 19 finishers advanced – one more than the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s 18-player cutoff because of a three-way tie for 17th.
