Mackenzie Ketterman is back at the helm of the Orrick varsity volleyball program this season.

Ketterman served as an assistant last year while Rick Gilmore was interim head coach. She returns to the head coaching role for her fifth year coaching at Orrick and overall. The Bearcats were slated to open their season Thursday at home against Lone Jack.

Shiann McGuire will serve as assistant coach for an Orrick team that returns 10 letter winners and five varsity starters. Senior Victoria Graves returns at setter, senior Emerie Qualls and junior Avis Rodenberg return in the middle, sophomore Bella Shoeneck is back at setter and sophomore Audrey Thomas returns at outside hitter. Graves and Qualls are expected to provide senior leadership for a roster that combines experience with several promising younger players.
