RICHMOND – Athleticism runs in Natalee Weber’s family. Her older brother, Branden Evans, played baseball at Richmond High School, where she is a senior. Her two younger sisters, Brook and Haylee, both play sports. In 2019, Haylee and Natalee were teammates on Richmond’s varsity softball team. In addition, Weber is the cousin of Richmond senior Taya Weber, who has signed to play women’s golf at Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College. Like her cousin, she is taking her game to the next level, having signed to play softball at Missouri Western State University. Weber, whose signing ceremony was conducted virtually in April at her home because of the coronavirus pandemic, credits her success to her family. “My family has supported me 100% through the ups and downs of my softball career, both high school and competitively, and I could not thank them,” she stated in an interview conducted recently via email.
