Chiefs pulling late shift
KANSAS CITY – Some pro football fans will have to stay up later than usual if they want to watch Kansas City Chiefs games live and in their entirety this season.
As the NFL Network noted with an onscreen graphic during an interview between former coach Steve Mariucci and Chiefs coach Andy Reid, there are five night games on the regular-season schedule for the defending Super Bowl champions. Their season opener against Houston is slated for a 7:20 p.m. kickoff Sept. 10 at Arrowhead Stadium.
Other evening games are Sept. 28 against Baltimore, Oct. 15 against Buffalo and Nov. 22 against Las Vegas, all away; and Dec. 6 against Denver at Arrowhead.
