Maddie Slough opted to take a different approach to opening Orrick’s golf season than she might have if this weren’t her first season leading the Bearcats. On March 20, Slough and three of her Bearcats participated in the Richmond Coaching Tournament at Shirkey Golf Course. Suggested to her during the summer by Richmond coach Murray Dennis, the tournament allowed coaches to provide hands-on instruction.
