Aggies up for coronation ceremony after homecoming win
HARDIN – The Aggies gave themselves cause to enjoy the festivities after their homecoming game with Brayer/Breckenridge.
Spurred by a 22-0 halftime lead, the Aggies cruised to a 52-16 win Sept. 25, when they hosted the Bobcats in varsity 8-man football action at Hardin-Central. Following the Central Rivers Conference Carroll-Livingston Activities Association Division victory, the homecoming royalty was introduced, and homecoming kings and queens were crowned.
Because the Aggies are a co-op program between Norborne and Hardin-Central, a homecoming couple was chosen for each school. Both homecoming kings were football players.
Keaton Andrews, a senior wide receiver and defensive end, was elected Norborne’s king, with Maddie Newham as his queen. Avery Nolker was elected Hardin-Central’s homecoming queen. Nate Hawkins, a senior offensive and defensive lineman and unopposed candidate, was named homecoming king.
