Buddy "Bud" E.  Fields

Buddy "Bud" E.  Fields - age 93 of Polo, MO passed away Sunday morning, June 26, 2022, at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer. Buddy was born on April 23, 1929, the son of Earl and Thelma (Robinson) Fields at home in the Hickory Grove community. Bud grew up in Hickory Grove and attended school there. He was a 1947 graduate of Richmond High School.   He married Billie Lewis on May 16th, 1948, in Miami, Oklahoma. Bud worked for Rohrer Construction for many years and farmed his entire life. He enjoyed farming, fishing and spending time at the family cabin on Truman Lake.

Glenn William Barks

Glenn William Barks, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, June 24, 2022, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  
 
He was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Cape Girardeau to William McKinley and Bess Gholson Barks. He and Donna June Allen were married Aug. 13, 1960, in Richmond, Missouri. 
 
Glenn was a graduate of the University of Missouri in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. During that time, he was stationed in Japan.

Amy Nichol Davis-Wiles, of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 47, in her Richmond home. 

Born September 29, 1974, in Independence, Missouri, daughter of William “Bill” and Alnita (Hansen) Davis.

Donald Gene “Gus” Prichard

Donald Gene “Gus” Prichard, 89, passed away at North Kansas City Hospital on June 22, 2022. 

Gus, as he was known to family and friends, was born on January 24, 1933, to C.L. and Lottie (Stratton) Prichard in Georgeville, Missouri. 

Gus graduated from Polo High School in 1950 and went to Kansas City to work for Sparks Town Topic on Broadway, then for Town Topic on 6th Street.  His boss there was a lady named Peggy, who had a daughter named Pat, who became his wife of 65 years.  They had a son, Paul, and an infant daughter, Nancy, who died shortly after birth.

Gary Clay Small

Gary Clay Small, 75, of Richmond, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital. 

Gary was born on December 15, 1946, in Gardner, KS, the son of Kelly Clay and Dortha May (Admire) Small.  He was united in marriage to Ann Williams of Richmond, on February 19, 1972; they later divorced.  For the past 21 years, he has spent his life with his life partner Donna Jean Carter, of Richmond; she survives of the home.

Stephen Wyse, 55, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022, at his home. Private family services will be held. A public Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in the name of Stephen Wyse. 
 
Stephen Sherman Wyse was born, July 20, 1966, in Richmond, MO, the son of Harry S. Wyse Jr. and Joy Marie (Kenney) Wyse.

Donald Peery

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Donald Peery who passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:03 p.m. at North Kansas City Hospital. Elston and Anna Mae Peery welcomed Donald Glenn into the world on November 3, 1937. Don graduated from Excelsior Springs, MO in 1955. He served six years in the Army National Guard as a cook. He carried his love of cooking throughout his life and became known by his family and close friends for his BBQ and his biscuits and gravy.
