David Wayne Baugher, 38, of Richmond, died unexpectedly, Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

David was born on Aug. 28, 1982, in Lexington, the son of Kenneth Ray and Tammy (Auffert) Baugher. He was united in marriage to Laurie Anne Bussell of Richmond on March 24, 2012. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Dillan Baugher and Colby Baugher, both of the home; daughter, Hayley Baugher of the home; mother, Tammy Baker of Lexington; uncle, Randall Baugher; cousin, Jeremy Baugher; and his extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, father, and brother, Daniel Jo Baugher.

David was reared and educated in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School. At the time of his death, he was working for D.G. Wright Farms, where he was a farm hand, mechanic and jack of all trades willing to help with anything.

David was well-known for always having a smile on his face. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his best friend, his wife. They were inseparable, always doing things together as best friends.

David was a family man who loved his kids dearly. If they needed something, he would find a way to get it for them. He was a hard worker.
