Dan Carson Watkins, 64, passed away on November 10, 2020 at his home in Richmond, Missouri.

He was born on November 30,1955 to Hurshel and Alice (Wright) Watkins.

Dan graduated from Braymer High School in 1973. He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation in 2010.

Dan married his wife, Kathy on December 5, 1992 and together they created a loving family of 6 children.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers (Hurshel Duane, James Wesley, and Tom).

Dan is survived by his wife, Kathy; his son, Dan II and wife Christian of Cowgill, Missouri; his daughter, Jennifer (Daues) and husband Chris of St Louis, Missouri; his son, Paul Staley and wife Kim of Richmond, Missouri; his daughter, Samantha (Hassey) and husband Jason of Tucson, Arizona; his daughter, Jessica Staley and husband Phillip Corwin of Richmond, Missouri; his son, Levi Staley and wife Laura Reed of Richmond, Missouri; his brother, Brian Watkins and wife Marla of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and a total of 13 grandchildren who adored their Papa.

A memorial service was held Thursday, November 12 at Polo United Methodist Church in Polo, Missouri.
