Elizabeth Jean Greenlee died peacefully Sept. 13, 2022, at her home. All who know her well, which it seems is much of the Richmond, MO population, know her only as “Jean”.

Ronald L. “Ron” Gibson, 81, of Norborne, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born on Apr.4, 1941, to Clyde E. Gibson and Olga P. (Raasch) Gibson. He attended the Trinity Lutheran School until the 7th grade.
Mary Virginia Gardner, 95, of Richmond, passed away on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Mary was born on May 19, 1927, in Lafayette County, the daughter of Andrew Paul and Lola Mae (Crumley) Gosoroski.
Gene Austin Whitmer, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, MO, passed away on Monday, Sep. 12, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO.
Mary Jo Lee, (90) of Orrick, MO passed away Sep. 8 at her home. Mary Jo was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Howard County, MO, to George M. Long Sr. and Thelma Marie (Hunker) Long.
Mary Jo moved to Orrick, MO, in 1945 with her family. She graduated from Orrick High School in 1949.
Melvin Lee Claypole, 77, of Richmond, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Glen Claypole and Beulah Mae (Trindle) Claypole and a brother, Gary Lynn Claypole.
Ronald “Ronnie” Ford passed away on Sep. 6, 2022, at his home. He was born on Sep. 17, 1948, in Carrollton, MO.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lola, his daughter, Debbie (Steve) Howerton, and his son, Steven Ford. Surviving siblings are Vickie, David, Mike, and Marty.
