Beverly Jean Gaulden, 60, of Richmond, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital. 

Beverly was born on Sept. 20, 1961, in Cameron, the daughter of Jim and Joyce Ann (Tague) Walls, she was united in marriage to Gerald Lee “Jerry” Gaulden on July 1, 2000, he survives of the home. 

Additional survivors include her father, Jim (Jo) Walls of Raytown; five children, Christina (Todd) Brison of Versailles, Rebecah (Russ) Willard of New Port Richey, FL, Maranda (Tony) O’Dell of Higginsville, Gerald Gaulden, Jr. of Richmond, and Ashley (David) Hancock of Richmond; 13 grandchildren, Alex (Miranda) Stuart, Alexis (Scott) Stuart, Tyler Brison, Jacob (Tabitha) Taber, Damien (Rachel) Loyd, Jaedon Willard, Klaira Miller, Killian Miller, Kiley Gaulden, Lincoln Gaulden, Adalynn Coggins, Mercedes Coggins and Caden Coggins; 3 great grandchildren, Braxton Creeden, Alex Loyd and Carter Taber; two brothers, Lee (Shannon) Hosman of Cole Camp and Jim (Gwen) Walls of Independence; two sisters, Patty (Denny) Hoaglin of Lexington and Stephanie Hartman of Caldwell County.  

She was preceded in death by her mother and her Dad, Larry “Hoss” Hosman. 

In addition to raising her family, she worked for Lake City Army Ammunition Plant for 22 years and then for the Shell Gas Station for 10 years. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family going to the lake, fishing and watching the Chiefs and Nascar. She was of the Christian faith. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.   

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Gerald Gaulden. Memorial contributions may be dropped off or mailed in care of the family at Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street – PO Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085. 

Visitation with memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.  Please remember to share your memories of Beverly with the family by visiting thurmanfuneralhome.com.
