A Richmond woman has been granted a bond reduction and released from the Ray County Jail while facing felony charges involving alleged child abuse.

Jordin Elaine Langdon, 32, is charged with two counts of abuse or neglect of a child and one count of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child by creating a substantial risk, all Class D felonies, with no sexual contact.

Langdon was initially ordered to be held without bond before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins recently modified her release conditions to allow a $25,000 cash or corporate surety bond. She posted a surety bond on Aug. 27 and was released from custody.

Langdon was arrested on a warrant Aug. 17 and appeared from custody by video the following day before Baskins. She pleaded not guilty and requested appointment of a public defender.

Langdon is scheduled to appear for a docket call at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 15.
