Two more charged in Hardin elder exploitation case
An investigation into the alleged multimillion-dollar financial exploitation of an elderly Hardin couple has led to charges against two additional people.
Tammera Jean Darrah, of Lexington, and Henry V. Hansuld, of Lexington, each face 13 felony charges, including five counts of stealing a motor vehicle, watercraft or aircraft; two counts of stealing $750 or more and six counts of stealing a firearm. Additionally, they both face misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespass and second-degree property damage.
Trenton and Kirsten Hansuld were charged last year with multiple felonies stemming from the same investigation, including financial exploitation, stealing and filing false documents. Trenton has since been charged with two additional felony counts of forgery involving documents connected to the investigation.
