Reoccurring issues with warrant information was the topic of discussion in a recent meeting called by Ray County 911 Board with the Ray County Commissioners. Staff members from The Ray County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Department were also to attend.

Postal employees continue to experience safety issues during mail delivery in the Wood Heights area, according Excelsior Springs Post Office City letter carrier Kyle Slusher, who addressed the problem with a letter sent to homes along the delivery route.

Orrick High School students visited the Capitol in Jefferson City and four students’ artwork was displayed at the Youth Art Month Exhibition for the opening ceremony. Orrick art teacher Cassie Smith said she was proud of the hard work of her students, senior Chloee Hachman, sophomore Hannah Adams, sophomore Gunner Smith and junior Julia Sayegh.

The Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its second annual Easter Eggs-Po basket event, with drawings slated for April 5. The event allows the chamber to raise money for the Christmas fund.
