RCC and First Baptist Church team up to host educational event

To inform local adults and parents of synthetic marijuana, flavored products, edibles and more, the Ray County Coalition teamed up with the First Baptist Church of Richmond and guest speaker, Jennifer Rhoad of Smithville Community in Action. The event, “Marijuana in Our Community: Understanding the Risks to Youth,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at 306 W. Main St. in Richmond. Attendees must register with Debrorah Neel by emailing her at deborahn@tri-countymhs. org or calling (816) 468-0400, ext. 219. A light meal will be served among other free resources.
