Mayor’s prayer breakfast deemed success
Richmond community leaders, pastors, law enforcement, and residents prayed and ate together last week at the First Baptist Church’s Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. The event is a way to pray for the county/city and the elected officials and staff who work in them, explained First Baptist Church Pastor William Isaacson.
Richmond City Mayor Mike Wright welcomed everyone and, as people sat to eat their biscuits and gravy, Isaacson introduced keynote guest speaker, Orrick Christian Church Pastor Art Endsley.
“I appreciate being able to speak here with all these theologians on the stage,” said Endsley.
The Orrick pastor discussed how being a leader takes a lot of responsibility and discussed the First and Second Chronicles in the Bible.
