One local man’s work ethic and faith fruition into the physical place of healing and worship. Rob Kinnard, Richmond City Council member, pastor and basketball enthusiast, opened up about a special place to him. Made from God’s will and self-dedication, the Rockingham Chapel and Ranch; and Off The Grid Adventures campsite came to physicality. Inspired by the original Rockingham Church of the Brethren, Rob took it upon himself to make it a therapeutic place of worship. The outdoor experience features rescued animals to calm the nervous system. Rob said God has called him to live a life of giving to others in this manner. He contributes his work ethic to his late parents, George and Shirley Kinnard. “Hard work and determination were instilled in me at a very young age with my parents being the example.
