Hardin man receives 25 years in plea agreement
A Hardin man has pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges involving child sexual abuse, resolving three Ray County criminal cases through a plea agreement.
Brant K. Nichols, 26, recently pleaded guilty before Eighth Judicial Circuit Judge Kevin L. Walden to one count of first-degree sodomy and three counts of enticement of a child. He was sentenced to a total of 25 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections (MDC), with each sentence ordered to run consecutively.
Nichols was originally charged in four separate criminal cases filed in 2024 and 2025. Two cases were filed in 2024 and later set for trial, followed by two additional cases filed in 2025 after investigators executed a search warrant on his Snapchat account.
