Earlier this year, Tommy Burton experienced the thrill of coaching his first 1,000-point scorer as the head of Hardin-Central’s varsity girls basketball program. Later this year, Burton might get to experience the thrill of seeing that 1,000-point scorer, Ester Kincaid, play in her first college game.

Richmond graduate Sydney Appleberry found ways to get hits and score runs over the weekend. Appleberry went 4-for-12 (.333) with six RBIs over two doubleheaders for Moberly Area Community College (MACC), where she’s a sophomore.
