Natalee Weber’s glove work has helped Missouri Western State University jump out to a 10-3 start this softball season.

Weber, a 2020 Richmond High School graduate, was fourth on the team in putouts with 21 through 13 games. Playing at first base in her most recent start, she contributed four putouts during the Griffons’ 6-0 win over Northern State University. Her stat line also included a putout assist and a fourth-inning error.

The Feb. 26 victory in Columbus, Ga., capped Missouri Western’s appearance in the NFCA Leadoff Classic. The Griffons went 5-0 for the weekend tournament, extending their winning streak to nine games.

Missouri Western is slated for back-to-back road doubleheaders Friday and Saturday.
