The Spartans took out some of their frustrations from their 18-12 Week 5 loss to Lafayette County of Higginsville during their Sept. 30 homecoming game with Carrollton. “We definitely played with a chip on our shoulder after losing to Higginsville,” Richmond senior running back Aidan Ivison said. Sparked by that “chip,” the Spartans pummeled the Trojans 64-0 in Missouri River Valley Conference (MRVC) East Division 11-man varsity football action. It was 56-0 at halftime.
