Richmond girls 11th at Lawson tourney
Richmond almost placed in the top 10 in the team standings at the Lawson Girls Golf Invitational.
Shooting a combined 475, the Spartans finished 11th at the Sept. 6 competition at Hidden Valley Golf Course – four strokes ahead of 12thplace Bishop LeBlond of St. Joseph and 14 strokes behind 10th-place Kearney. Karoline Dooley led Richmond, finishing her 18-hole, par-72 round with a 107 (+35). Dooley placed 28th overall.
In other Richmond results, Kylie Holland finished in a three-way for 47th by shooting a 118 (+46). Taylor Hoeppner shot a 119 (+47) to finish in a four-way tie for 50th.
Carsyn Teat tied for 66th with a 131 (+59).
