Elliott looks to leave Aggies; enters transfer portal
is leaving New Mexico State University (NMSU) after leading the school’s football program for two seasons.
Some of his Aggies are looking to leave, too, including Richmond High School alumnus Keyshaun Elliott.
As multiple media outlets reported, Kill announced his resignation Dec. 23. Elliott announced his decision to leave the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision program Dec. 24 on his official page on X (formerly Twitter), @8Keyshaun.
“With the recent changes at NMSU, I have decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal with 2 YEARS (capitalization Elliott) left,” tweeted Elliott, a sophomore linebacker.
On Tuesday, Elliott tweeted that his entrance into the transfer portal was official. He also tweeted that he had received four transfer offers, posting a picture of the helmet of each school that had made an offer. Those schools were the University of Kansas, the University of Central Florida, the University of Houston and Arizona State University.
