Bulldogs kick off Florence era

The Nate Florence era is underway for Hardin-Central boys basketball. Florence succeeds August Hoeper as head varsity coach. His first regularseason game ended in a 62-33 loss Nov. 21 to visiting Polo. The Hardin-Central boys then fell 51-38 Nov. 25 at Chilhowee. Hardin-Central had two games scheduled for this week – Tuesday against visiting Norborne and Friday against Tri-County at Jamesport. The boys’ regular-season schedule also includes two tournaments, both in 2026. In late January, they’re slated to play in the Richmond Winter Classic. The Carroll-Livingston Activities Association Tournament is set for early February.
