Add walking tacos to sports concession stands — now!

Readers, I have an important question for you. Do any of the Ray County high schools sell walking tacos at their sports concession stands? That question has burned inside me for several weeks. It all started in early March, when my nephew and niece-inlaw, Kevin Matthew and Becky Roney, had a birthday bash for my grandniece Maddison, who attends Lawson High School, along with her brother Patrick. The menu items included walking tacos. Before that chilly Saturday afternoon on a hill in Ray County, I can’t recall ever having eaten a walking taco. If memory serves, I had eaten a delicious Frito chili pie or two, but as any party food connoisseur worth his or her distinguished palate knows, that’s a different brand of delight for the taste buds. For the unfamiliar, a Frito chili pie is chili spread atop a cluster of Fritos corn chips, just as it sounds.
