WANDA “BUNNY” HARRIS

Wanda “Bunny” Harris, 65, of Richmond, formerly of New Orleans, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at Avalon View Health and Wellness in Liberty. Wanda was born July 26, 1958, in New Orleans, the daughter of Rosalie Harris Johnson and Donald Hurst. Survivors include: her daughter, Michelle Harris; grandchildren, Keziah Holt, Taraji Harris and Zavion Keyes; siblings, Richard and Agnes Harris, and Kevin and Stacy Johnson; uncle, Eddie Harris; 10 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives.

DOTTI JANE (SKAGGS) PIERSON

Dotti Jane (Skaggs) Pierson, 74, of Richmond passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington. Dotti was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Brookfield to Nina and Glen Skaggs. She grew up in Brunswick and was the baby of four children, including her sisters, Lyndell and Phyllis; and brother, Glen (Butch). Dotti was adored by all that knew her from the day she was born. One of her biggest admirers, her father, built “Dotti Delight Drive-In” in the late 1950s in Brunswick.

MARJORIE “JANET” WOLLARD

Marjorie “Janet” Wollard, 87, of Hardin passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at Oak Ridge Assisted Living in Richmond. Janet was born on Aug. 7, 1936, in Maryville to James Corfield and Marjorie Clair (Hackett) Ware Jr. She was united in marriage to Billy Gene Wollard of Hardin on Nov. 19, 1961. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1988. Survivors include three sons, Dale (Amanda) Wollard of Norborne, Bruce (Dana) Wollard of Lee’s Summit and James (April) Wollard of Richmond; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Joe, Cloyce, LaDonna, Dawson, Amanda D. and Nevaeh; two greatgrandchildren, Huntleigh and Malachi; three step-greatgrandchildren; a brother, J.C. (Julia) Ware of Maryville; and a sister, Phyllis Jean (Tim) Danner of Oregon.

FRANCES MARIE BIDDING

1931-2023 Frances Marie (Parisoff) Bidding, 92, of St. Joseph passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2023. She was born Jan. 17, 1931, in St. Joseph to Anna and Ottis Parisoff. Frances attended the Immaculate Conception school, where she enjoyed elocution classes, theater and dance. Frances was united in marriage to Jack Warren Bidding on Sept. 25, 1946. They shared seven children.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS KOCH

Michael Douglas Koch, 59, of Richmond passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, at Ray County Hospital and Healthcare in Richmond. Michael was born on Sept. 23, 1964, in Kansas City, the son of Douglas August and Mary Lou (Clevenger) Koch. Survivors include his son, Michael Koch of Independence; daughter, Michaela (Luke) Clark of Buckner; nine grandchildren, Daeton, Dallas, Jacklynn, Skyah, Caroline, Kage, Zaylee, Zoey and Talia; brother, Robert W. (Cindy) Hoover of Richmond; and two sisters, Marilyn O’Dell of Richmond and Denna Casey of Lathrop. He also is survived by many nephews, nieces, greatnephews and great-nieces.
