Floyd H. Evans, 63, of Sedalia, died Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home.
Floyd was born on September 1, 1958, in Deschutes County, FL, the son of Edward and Delia (Merz) Evans, Jr. He was united in marriage to Linda “Colleen” Wiggins of Camden on June 2, 1985; she preceded him in death on May 5, 2003.
Survivors include: his fiancé, Velda Weinreich of the home; son, Edward Earl “Eddie” Evans, III, of the home; daughter, Caitlyn May Evans of Columbia; brother, Robert Evans of Excelsior Springs; six sisters: Linda Hursman (James Hopkins) of Sedalia, Betty (Martin) Hatfield of Odessa, Lena Rush of Richmond, Hazel Chapman of Florida, Patricia Doron of Marshall, and Barbara (Mike) McGinnis of Kansas City; many nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Floyd went to school Excelsior Springs. He loved fishing and watching restoration car shows. Floyd will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
