Faye (Peacock) Oliphant, 85, of Richmond, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at her home. 

Faye was born on Dec. 21, 1936, in Soperton, GA, the daughter of Freeman and Emma (Knight) Peacock.  She was united in marriage to Ralph E. Oliphant of Richmond on Feb. 21, 1987; he survives of the home. 

Additional survivors include her children, Kenneth Sandlin of Nevada, Dennis Hess of Richmond, Laura Bennett of Bradenton, FL, Beth (James) Cameron of Van Buren, AR, Dawn (Bruce) Davis of Richmond, Tyler (Susan) Oliphant of Richmond, and Shelly (Wesley) Sanders of Richmond; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren also survive. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Faye enjoyed a multitude of activities, such as crafting, sewing, horseback riding, and traveling.  She had an adventurous and kind soul.  Faye will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
