Earl Dan Griffith
Earl Dan Griffith, 62, of Rayville, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Earl was born on January 19, 1960, in Kansas City, the son of Daniel Lee and Juanita (Conness) Griffith, Sr. He was united in marriage to Martha Jane Shipman of Gladstone, on June 13, 1987; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two daughters, Megan (Shane) Pendleton of Harrisonville and Morgan Griffith (Joshua) of Blue Springs; four grandchildren: Levi Pendleton, Lana Pendleton, Joshua Williams, and Neriah Williams; brother, Ernest (Carla) Griffith of Gladstone; four sisters: Geneva (Charles) Rothrock of Gladstone, Susan (Richard) Nickel of Gladstone, Roberta Cash of Lake of the Ozarks, and Christine Evans of Kansas City; niece, Sereptia Williams of Kansas City; along with many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Daniel Lee, Jr., Don, Howard, Leroy, Russell, Glen, and Robert Griffith, and three sisters, Ernestine Todd, Sheryl Sherman, and Ruth Griffith in infancy.
Earl was raised in Independence and graduated from Fort Osage High School. He was a jack-of-all-trades; if it was broke, he could fix it. Earl farmed all of his life. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver in the construction industry. Earl was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandkids, farming, tractors, fixing things, and working on cars. Earl will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation with memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Sheffield Family Life Center, 5700 Winner Road, Kansas City, MO 64127, with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M., with services to follow at 10:00 A.M.
