Carolyn Sue Wolf, 73, of Henrietta, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Carolyn was born on April 10, 1948, in Jackson County, the daughter of Russell and Genevieve (Waldman) Pugh.  She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Emmett Wolf, the love of her life, on June 5, 1970, after 9 short months of dating; he preceded her in death on December 8, 2021, just 17 days prior to Carolyn’s passing 

Survivors include: son, Ron Wolf of Warrensburg; daughter, Brianna Wolf of Liberty; granddaughter, Shaylynn Stigger of Liberty; five brothers, Bob Pugh (Rita) of Weatherby, Chuck Pugh (Leah) of Orrick, Eddie Pugh (Carla) of Excelsior Springs, Donald Pugh of Excelsior Springs, and Billy Pugh of Fulton; three sisters, Barbara Martin (Steve) of Richmond, Janet Karl (Jim) of Richmond, and Teresa Wilson (Rick) of Orrick; two brothers-in-law, Bill Knutter of Richmond, and John Lee of Orrick; sister-in-law, Clara Luman (Doug) of Stockton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Dale Pugh, Michael Pugh, and Dicky Pugh, three sisters, Phyllis Lee, Debbie Knutter, and Peggy Adams, and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Pacheco. 

Carolyn worked at Tredegar in Excelsior Springs and retired around the year 2000 from there.  She brought light to every room she entered.  Her laugh was contagious enough it filled every room with laughter and jokes.  She inspired many people and loved helping anyone who needed her. 

She loved laughing, traveling, playing cards with family, shopping.  She loved her family and extended family dearly.  She took in others as her own kids and grandkids and loved every minute of it. 

The family humbly suggests memorial contributions be made to Carolyn Wolf Family.  They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street – P. O. Box 190, Richmond, MO, 64085.  

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Thurman Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. and services to follow at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will be at a later date in Cravens Cemetery, Camden.  Please remember to share your memories with the family of Carolyn by visiting www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
