Bruce Myron Hurshman, 63, of Henrietta, MO, passed away at his sisters, Denise and Steve Hopkins, residence on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, after a long road of battling cancer.  

He was born on Mar. 21, 1959, in Ray County, the son of Kenneth and Rosela Hurshman. He married Sherrie Lynn Knutter of Orrick, MO.  

Bruce enjoyed fishing, boat rides, loved going to races at I70 Speedway. He also liked gardening, flowers, and his Bad Boy Lawn Mower, and all his friends. He enjoyed his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Lynn Hurshmann; two stepchildren, Sheryl Kincaid and William Darrel Silkwood; six grandchildren, Cody Kincaid, JD Kincaid, Dylan (Nikki) Silkwood, Shianna Silkwood, Ryan (Alyssa) Silkwood, and Lacey Silkwood; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon Lee Harris Jr. (Adopted son), Shania Harris, Troy Silkwood, Cash Silkwood, Zachary Michaels, Zane Michaels, Scarlett Silkwood, Freyja Silkwood, and Ellis Silkwood; four sisters, Denise (Steve) Hopkins, Gloria (Joe) Francis, Gladys (Dale) Sharp, and Pam (Butch) Fugate; three brothers, Clifford (Donna) Hurshman, Donald (Penny) Hurshman, and David (Pam) Hurshman; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Bill Knutter and a sister-in-law, Connie Elliot.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rosela Hurshman, stepson, Lonnie Dean Silkwood Jr., granddaughter, Amanda Rochelle Silkwood, and two grandchildren, Ciara Michaels and still birth.
