Free clinic unites local communities for animal welfare

Richmond, Excelsior Springs and surrounding communities saw significant progress in animal welfare earlier this month as Operation Snip ‘Em wrapped up its three-day free spay and neuter clinic, marking the organization’s first fully booked event. All 21 dogs scheduled for the October clinic received surgery and vaccinations at Ray County Animal Hospital in Richmond.

Orrick Lions Club celebrates milestone, looks ahead

The Orrick Lions Club marked its 75th anniversary with a celebration that drew members, guests and Lions leaders from across Missouri to honor decades of service and community spirit. The recent event was held at The Homeplace at Valley View Farm, where nearly 70 people gathered for dinner, visiting and an evening of reflection.
