Orrick FFA student attends Texas conference
Out of hundreds of students across the U.S., an Orrick High School student, Cash Honeycutt was invited to attend the National Future Farmers of America (FFA) – Next Gen Conference in Texas. The conference invites students across the country the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths before graduating from high school.
The Next Gen Conferences go indepth into subsets of the more than 350 careers in agriculture each year.
Cash spent last week in Dallas and Ft. Worth for the FFA activities.
“This was a great conference for FFA members to attend in the fact that it exposes members to career opportunities that agriculture has to offer. Cash was able to experience new and emerging ideas, trends and products; cuttingedge technology; sustainability, and more,” said Orrick FFA Advisor and Cash’s father, Don Honeycutt.
