Northland Coalition names hall of famer
RICHMOND – The Northland Coalition has inducted Christal Milligan into the Prevention Volunteer Hall of Fame.
“Our Hall of Fame inductees have all given many years and hundreds of hours to support prevention efforts in our area,” Northland Coalition information states. “This honoree is certainly no exception. We are excited and proud to recognize the 2021 inductee: Ms. Christal Milligan.”
Milligan’s commitment to prevention began in 1999 with the Richmond C-2000 team. She proved instrumental in helping to form the Ray County Coalition in 2000, when she and other leaders of the smaller coalitions across the county decided to band together to share resources and build partnerships for bigger impact.
Due in large part to Milligan’s leadership and commitment, the RCC went on to receive a strategic-prevention framework state incentive grant, a CADCA Got-Outcomes national award, the Harrold Hughes Rural Community coalition national award, and a state partnering for success award, and…
