Local talent joins multi-community ensemble

A local musician will help carry on a winter tradition, relying on the shared talents of communities across northern Missouri. Richmond resident Ben Suchman will perform with the Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra (GRVCO) during its upcoming winter concert. Suchman plays string bass with the group and will join fellow performers as the ensemble presents Once Upon a December at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 in the Trenton R-IX Performing Arts Center. Founded in 2009, the Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra was formed to draw on the musical strengths of communities across northern Missouri and provide opportunities for uplifting expression for both new and seasoned musicians and listeners. This year’s program features a mix of choral, orchestral, and combined pieces. The orchestra will open with ‘Hark!
