Family night brings nature indoors
Families in Ray County will soon have the chance to step into the wild world of Missouri’s outdoors – without even leaving town.
The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is hosting the Ray County Conservation Family Night from 5-7 p.m. on May 20 inside the Richmond High School Gymnasium at 451 East South Street. The event is free, open to all ages and requires no registration – families can simply show up and explore at their own pace.
“The purpose of the Ray County Conservation Family Night is to have an evening where families can enjoy activities and demonstrations provided by the Missouri Department of Conservation,” said Ray County Conservation Agent Claire Burch. “The goal of the event is to bring the community together for a free showcase of all the conservation- related topics MDC has to offer within the community.”
