Ballot: Will marijuana dispensaries be allowed in Ray County?
As the general election approaches this November, residents of Ray County are actively discussing a significant issue that will be featured on the ballot – whether to allow non-medical microbusiness and marijuana dispensaries to be located in Ray County.
The ballot question will read: “Shall Ray County, Missouri, prohibit the establishment of all non-medical microbusiness dispensaries and comprehensive marijuana dispensaries within its boundaries, including the unincorporated areas and consequently forgo any potential local tax revenue associated with these businesses?”
A vote in favor would prohibit such establishments, while a vote against would allow these businesses to exist in the county.
