This past week, the Richmond Area Chamber and Richmond City united forces with the Richmond High School to host a job fair for local area businesses to find their next employee. A job fair or career fair is a great place to meet many potential employers all at once.
The Missouri FFA Association has selected local student Richmond High School (RHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) student Aspen Erskine as a 2023 State FFA Choir member. This year is the ninety-fifth Missouri All-State FFA Choir.

Prosecuting Attorney Camille Johnston and Ray County Sheriff Scott Childers gathered at the call of the Ray County 911 Board in order to discuss improvements. The Ray County 911 Board held a meeting last week and asked Prosecuting Attorney Johnston and Childers to discuss some improvements made since their group meeting with the county commissioners.
Ray County Sheriff’s Department arrests from March 6, 2023 to March 11, 2023. Monday, March 6 Jimmie Sample, 39, of Richmond, MO, was arrested for possession of controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Orrick High School’s Cash Honeycutt was one of 30 high school sophomores recently selected to participate in the Missouri Department of Agriculture’s Missouri Agribusiness Academy (MAbA). In June, Honeycutt and other selected students will spend a week in the St. Louis area learning about many of the unique opportunities available in agriculture.
