The Richmond News, May 23, 2025 Peggy Heddings Peggy Nell Heddings, 80, of Excelsior Springs, formerly of Carroll County, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Aspire Senior Living in Excelsior Springs. Peggy was born June 27, 1944, in St. Paul, Ark., the daughter of Elton Udell and Willa Mae (Perry) Rowlett. She was united in marriage to Amos Jewell Heddings of Roads on Sept. 18, 1962. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2012. Survivors include her son, David (Christine) Heddings of Carrollton; daughter, Shelley (Jim) Thorsen of Kearney; and four grandchildren, Danielle (Brian) Bowman, Paul (Janelle) Heddings, Donnie (Heather) Pangborn and Taylor (Chad) Ross. Other survivors include five great-grandchildren, Abe Arthur, Eli Bowman, Ellison Pangborn, Emery Pangborn and Everett Heddings; and three siblings, Mike (Lori) Massey, Willa (Tim) Perdue and Randy (Lori) Massey.
