JEFFERSON CITY – State leaders are offering a Missouri Meat & Poultry Processing Grant to increase food supply chain resilience in our state. The General Assembly allocated $20 million in CARES Act funds for meat and poultry establishments that employ fewer than 200 people.

State picks top agriculture photo

JEFFERSON CITY – A photo of a barn won Best in Show for the 2020 Focus on Missouri Agriculture Photo Contest hosted by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Submitted by Christine Peper, Jefferson City, judges chose the photo from nearly 1,000 submitted by amateurs from across Missouri.
