For decades, a group of U.S. Army veterans have gathered each year to remember their fallen comrade, Forest Dickey. Now, their efforts have culminated in a permanent memorial -- the SP4 Forest P. Dickey Memorial Highway. Dickey was drafted into the Army. He began his tour Sept. 15, 1966, and held the rank of Specialist Four at his death.
