RICHMOND – COVID-19 knocked more than two dozen players from the Richmond High School football roster before the Spartans’ Oct. 2 game, varsity coach Nick Persell said.

ODESSA – Kayden Bowman’s senior season of varsity softball at Richmond “was definitely an adjustment,” she acknowledged. Bowman had to make one more adjustment Tuesday night: She had to adjust to Richmond’s season ending with a 4-1 loss to Oak Grove at the Odessa Sports Complex in the Class 3 District 7 Tournament.
