Dennis Sisco
Dennis Mark Sisco Sr., 69, of Lakeland, Fla., passed away July 9, 2026, at home. Dennis was born June 10, 1957, in Emporia, Kan., to the union of Thomas D. Sisco and Beulah May (Tindell) Sisco. He married Geralyn Muller of Brooklyn, N.Y., on Feb. 24, 1990. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son, Dennis M. Sisco, Jr. (Cathy) of Bartow, Fla.; daughter, Christina Hughes (Scotty) of Auburndale, Fla.; and four grandsons, Damon, Carter, Tristin and Phoenix.
He also is survived by his brother, Richard D. Sisco (Peggy) of Richmond; sister, Laura Richardson (Mitch) of Kansas City; and stepson, Brandon Russell (April) of Bartow. Many beloved nephews and nieces in Missouri survive, too, as well as extended families in Lakeland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas D. and Beulah M. Sisco; brother, Larry K. Sisco; and sister Melody Montgomery, all of Richmond.
Dennis was raised and educated in the Richmond community, graduating in 1975 from Richmond High School. While at school, he created a before-class prayer group and became an Eagle Scout.
Following high school, he went on to attend and graduate from the University of Missouri with a degree in chemical engineering.
He worked in the fertilizer industry and retired from the Mosaic Co. after 40 years.
Dennis was a Mason, Shriner and member of the Egypt Shrine Drifters Trike Patrol. He loved riding his trike in their parades and supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
He was a fishing and hunting enthusiast. There will be a private ceremony and family gathering at a later date.
His favorite saying was “Whatever it takes.” And that’s the way he lived his life.
